This 2"x2" CAPITAL® Plastics #144 holder is made from acrylic plastic which will not discolor.  The acrylic used does not contain any sulfur, acid, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), foam rubber or oily substances.  The coin holder is made of three panels; a BLACK center panel called the "insert" which contains the tapered coin opening and the descriptive gold printing, and two clear panels for the front and back called "windows" that protect the coin and permit its examination from the obverse and reverse. The panels of the acrylic holder are held securely together by a network of clear plastic screws and posts.
